So I finally got some crawfish at Delta Grill on 48th Street & 9th Avenue for Fat Tuesday. Not the best, but not bad.

tag! you're it! , originally uploaded by yayaempress . We have a little game we play with our friends Dave & Sandy. When we leave each other's company, we give each other something: a comb, a small toy... Today when they left our place, I gave them a tote bag I received as a souvenir from a coworker from her trip to Israel. Ten minutes after they left, Chris & I headed to the subway only to find the bag lying in the lobby of our building. Lucky for us, I knew where their car was parked.

trumpet man , originally uploaded by yayaempress . I was on my way to take photos along the Washington DC Mall when I heard this guy's trumpet. It was so nice & I knew he had to be freezing his balls off. I dropped a dollar into his bucket & started snapping away. One of my favorite pictures of my time in DC.
