It's been a while since I've posted. Been a little busy... But this photo is from last night. The husband's comedy group, Quiet Library, has a potentially lucrative deal in the works & we decided to get together to eat, enjoy each other company & drink like fish. It was a good night!

We just got back from Chris's family reunion in Rayville, La. While there, I got a chance to go to my grandparent's farm where you can find a plethora of old, neglected, rusted items scattered about in my Papaw Leo's shop.

An old friend called me out of the blue yesterday so we met up for drinks at Brother Jimmy's BBQ on the Upper East Side. Since Brother Jimmy's first got their photobooth, it's been broken. Yesterday, it was working so we dove in & had a little fun. I love photobooths!

This is our bartender friend, Rocco, from Alfredo of Rome in Rockefeller Plaza. He's only been in the US for 5 or 6 months but his english is fantastic. He's traveled some and has worked at Club Med across the world. Along with Victoria, Rocco takes care us at Alfredo.

Last weekend Dave, Sandy, Greg, Liz, Chris & I took off for Augusta, NJ for the Michael Arnone Crawfish Festival. My cousin, Jon Bertrand, and his band, Pine Leaf Boys, played the festival this year. On Sunday night, they played Joe's Pub at Astor Place here in NYC. (photos posted soon or check out my flickr page for those.) Then I got to spend a couple of days just hanging out with Jon & Blake Miller, the PLB bassist. It was great to see the guys again.
